Neri Oxman believes the future of the built environment may not be designed against nature, but with it. 

As cities expand and infrastructure scales, the objective when building is more than just efficiency or performance of the asset. It’s about leaving sites better than they were found. According to Neri Oxman, Founder and CEO of OXMAN, this requires a fundamental shift in how we approach design, one that blends AI-driven design, biology, and long-term thinking. 

“Everything we design is designed with a very long-term vision and view,” Neri explains. “We’re not thinking about the final object… but a century or a millennial outlook.”
