Seifert Logistics (Daimler)

Overview

Seifert Logistics is responsible for the production supply of a plant for Daimler in Rastatt. The logistics service provider relied on Goodman’s expertise for the development of a new logistics centre in nearby Malsch.

The result is a property that is tailored to the needs of the automotive industry for the customer’s flexible use.

Goodman brought in its years of experience as a global project developer and investor and implemented a 46,000 sqm logistics centre in just nine months. The property offers roofed delivery zones with movable loading docks and high-speed doors. The material flow can be controlled in an efficient way that the production supply can occur JIS/JIT.

A key argument for Seifert Logistics was the sustainable design of the property. Goodman did not develop on a new site, but instead converted the grounds of a former concrete mixing plant.  A modern logistics centre has therefore been established in a well-developed industrial area.
